These are a specialty of Zauner Bakery in Bad Ischl, and are sometimes called Zaunerkip-ferln. Make the walnut filling for Apples in Pastry Robes. Before rolling up the crescent rolls, spread a scant tablespoon of filling on the base of the triangle.
