  • quick flaky pastry, made using 8 oz (225 g) plain flour
  • beaten egg

Method

Divide prepared pastry in half. Roll out each piece on a lightly floured work surface to a 9×6 inch (22.5×15 cm) rectangle. Trim the edges straight with a sharp knife, then cut each rectangle in half lengt
