  • 2 cooking apples
  • 2 tablespoons castor sugar
  • finely grated lemon rind

Method

Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or gas no. 5. Generously grease a pint (900 ml) baking dish or pie dish. Peel, core and slice the apples and place in the prepared dish. Sprinkle over the sugar and grated
