Ingredients

  • 1 pint (600 ml) water
  • 2 level teaspoons powdered gelatine

Method

Put 2 tablespoons of the water into a teacup, sprinkle in the gelatine and leave to soak for 5 minutes. Put the remaining water, the sugar and thinly pared lemon rinds into a saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Draw
