Use this sauce to add a sharp extra bite to fish, fried in particular, or breadcrumbed chicken. The measurements can just be halved to make a smaller quantity.

Ingredients

  • 300 ml (10 fl oz) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped gherkins

Method

  • Mix together all of the ingredients, seasoning to taste with the salt and pepper.
