Crab claws are generally sold frozen, cooked and ready to eat. The dressed dip binds together the ingredients normally associated with dressed crab to provide you with an easy starter.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 ml ( fl oz) double or whipping cream or

Method

  • Put the eggs into boiling water, return to the boil and cook for 8 minutes. Place the pan under cold running water, leaving it to run until cold. Shell the eggs and roughly chop the white and yolks.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the cream until lightly whipped. Add the mayonnaise, mixing it in well, then stir in the egg, parsley and capers with a generous squeeze of lem
