This is the same combination of flavours as a chicken Kiev, but the recipe takes on a different identity with the garlic and herb butter spooned over the wings. Make into a complete meal with a salad.


  • 1 kg ( lb) chicken wings
  • salt and pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6. In a large roasting tray, season the wings with salt and pepper and mix in 2-3 tablespoons of the olive oil.
