This recipe is quick to make and resembles a chocolate trifle. Any bought chocolate brownies are fine to use and the mousse is best eaten at room temperature.

  • 225 g (8 oz) chocolate brownies, cut into cubes

Method

  • Scatter the chocolate brownies in the base of a glass pudding bowl.
  • Put the chopped chocolate into a bowl and place over a pan of simmering water, stirring occasionally until melted.
  • Place half the cream in a pan and bring to the boil. Whisk into the melted cho
