If you’re looking to spice up your homemade challahs, this is the topping for you. It has everything you’re sure to like—it’s salty, nutty, garlicky, and crunchy—and it’s easy to use: just brush the risen loaves with egg wash as directed, then sprinkle the topping evenly over them. It’s also terrific on basmati rice, grilled fish, and roasted vegetables.
