If you want to make your own prepared horseradish rather than relying on a store-bought variety, this is how to do it.

Select ajar or jars with tight-fitting lids. I recommend that you use several small jars, because once opened the horseradish is quite perishable. Sterilize the jars by boiling in water to cover for 10 minute
