An elemental sauce with the flavors of Carnia. If you wish to use this as a pasta sauce, rigatoni or penne are your best bets. This sauce is enough for 1-1½ pounds/450-675 g of uncooked pasta. To serve with polenta, use soft polenta and add the sauce. Another possibility is to grill a brick of leftover polenta and then pour the hot sauce on top.
