Here is a delicious and typical preparation that is very easy. You may use it as a small plate in a multicourse meal, a traditional primo before a meat and vegetable course, or as a filling one-course lunch.
Make the polenta according to the recipe instructions. This may be more than you need, so save the rest for another use. About 10 minutes before it is done, prepare the sauce.
