Traditional Irish Soda Bread

A traditional recipe for Irish white soda bread which is perfect for any time of the day and is so easy to make. Don’t forget to make the cross on top of the bread so the fairies can fly out. The butter is optional but, if it’s added, the bread keeps a little longer without drying out too much. Best eaten on the same day although it freezes well.
