  • 1 cup chickpeas, soaked overnight
  • 1 cup couscous

Method

Place soaked chickpeas in a pot of water and bring to a boil over a medium heat. Cook for 30 minutes, or until soft. Set aside to cool.

Meanwhile, place couscous in a bowl, pour over just enough boiling water to cover couscous. Cover with a plate or lid and leave to stand for 5 – 10 minutes to absorb the liquid. Drain off any excess liquid, add the sal, fluff with a fork and allow to co
