  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 60 g light brown sugar

Method

Cream together the butter and sugar in a food-processor, or by hand, until light and fluffy.

Slowly add the egg, ensuring you scrape the sides of the food-processor bowl.

Turn the mixture into a bowl and carefully fold in the baking powder, vanilla essence, flour and chocolate buttons and mix well.
