  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, boil the water, sucro and half the simple syrup.
  2. Add remaining simple syrup, pomegranate puree and hibiscus powder.
  3. Blend with an immersion blender. Strain with a fine sieve into a medium-sized bowl. Set aside to cool.
