The heat from the cayenne and the spice from the cinnamon make this hot chocolate a house favorite.
Place cinnamon sticks, sugar, chocolate, and cream in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk constantly to prevent chocolate from burning. Add cayenne and ground cinnamon and continue to whisk. Add whole milk 1 cup at a time. Continue to whisk until chocolate melts completely and mixture simmers. Remove from heat and strain. Discard cinnamon sticks. Serve immediately.
