  • 10 g (β…“ oz) knob ginger

Method

Scrap off the skin of the ginger using a metal tea spoon.

Using an oroshigane (Japanese-style grater), finely grate the ginger.

If the juice and the pulp need to be used separately, you can gently press through a fine sieve.
