I grew up eatin’ rice for breakfast, the same as oatmeal—a li’l sugar, butter, and milk. I never knew you ate it any other time, and now folks rarely think of rice as a breakfast dish. Well, hopefully my twist on this old-time favorite will lead to the revival of rice for breakfast. With its sweet, crunchy, fresh berry toppin’, I just know y’all will be addin’ this to your list of breakfast favorites.
