New Country Sawmill Sausage Gravy

“Sawmill” is a southern Appalachian way of sayin’ white breakfast gravy made with fat drippin’s. Now some folks like their sausage on the side, and some like it cooked in the gravy. Another gravy debate is whether you ladle it over split biscuits or torn biscuits. I just say, no matter what twist y’all wanna give it, it’s gravy, baby.
