Southern Honey Biscuit with Bourbon-Coffee Glaze

My granny used to make me a breakfast treat she called “Soak Ups,” a small saucer filled with coffee, cream, and sugar, with a warm, fluffy biscuit set right in the middle of it. Oh, how I loved taking my spoon and digging into that warm biscuit soaked in that sweet coffee. This twist honors all the flavors—except for bourbon, of course—that my granny made special for me.
