During the Thanksgivin’ and Christmas holidays, my mom, Connie, would always make this festive-lookin’ salad. I’ve added pineapple to give a tropical twist to one of my mom’s signature recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 large box raspberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 (

Method

  • Place the gelatin in a large bowl and dissolve with boiling water. Add cranberry sauce; mix until melted.
  • Stir in the pineapples, apples, celery, and half of the pecans.
  • Pour into a serving dish or mold, and sprinkle top with remaining pecans. Cover and set in fridge until firm. This will take at least 3 hours.
