Happy Hushpuppies

Where I come from, if there’s fish, there’s gonna be hushpuppies. The perfect hushpuppy needs to have a touch of sweetness and a hint of onion and be tender on the inside and golden and crunchy on the outside. I can’t mess with perfection, so my twist on hushpuppies is to make ’em happy with a sweet, creamy honey butter. Y’all will love these as much as a puppy loves a shoe.
