Who don’t know that pecan pie ranks high on the list of traditional Southern desserts? How can y’all possibly improve it? I mean, it’s pretty much pastry perfection. Well, leave it to me to add the twist of bacon and bourbon and take perfection to a whole other level.

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Then add the pecans and stir for a few minutes until lightly toasted. Remove from heat and let cool.
