Orange-Slice Blondies

When I was growin’ up, my favorite store-bought candy was orange slices. It makes me nostalgic just thinkin’ about those sticky, sweet, orange-shaped wedges that was in Mom’s covered glass candy dishes. I really wanted to pay homage to my favorite childhood candy by showcasin’ it with a twist. I chose a blondie to pair it with, because I thought it would really let the orange flavor shine, takin’ me back to sneakin’ orange slices from the candy bowl before supper.
