Snowdrop Cookies

My dad’s favorite cookie is a pecan shortbread dusted in powdered sugar; y’all may know ’em as Mexican weddin’ cookies. We always called ’em snowdrop cookies, because we had ’em at Christmastime, and they looked like they had snow on ’em. I gave the traditional recipe a fruitcake-inspired twist by addin’ orange zest and dried fruit.
