No one knows the exact candy recipe except for Ronnie. As a teenager, I learned to make a simple formula from one of my mother’s cookbooks. Here’s my adaptation of a classic taffy recipe.

Ingredients

  • cups sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp.

Method

Combine sugar, water, vinegar, and butter in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
