I came across Cholula sauce in America. It is a hot, spicy chilli condiment. I bought a bottle, mainly because of the wonderfully decorated label, and used it in all sorts of recipes when I got home. It adds a real bite to any dish. You do not need bottled Cholula sauce to make this, but the hot spicy flavours are here. This makes an excellent change from a chilli con carne. Cholula, in central Mexico, boasts the largest pyramid in the world (thought you might like to know!).
