When we create recipes for the ski chalets it is great when we find something new that sums up an Alpine holiday. Many of our recipes originate in France, so it is refreshing to have something from Switzerland. Mountains of chocolate on a plate!

Ingredients

  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 50 g nougat/montelimar
  • 200

Method

  1. Line the loaf tin with a double layer of cling film (see tips). Toast the almonds on a baking sheet for about 4 minutes in the oven or until just golden. Leave to cool then chop finely. Cut the nougat into very small pieces.
  2. Melt the Toblerone in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. When melted, leave to one side for 10
