This makes a change from the endless triangles of smoked salmon which turn up at drinks parties. It is also much more convenient to make, and tastes so much better. The smoked salmon is cut into fine dice and mixed into the flavoured cream cheese. This is spread on bread (I like to use granary bread), then each slice is cut into triangles.
