The sauce for this dish has some rather unlikely sounding ingredients in it. Don’t be put off, because it is a most useful recipe. It can be made several hours ahead and reheated when needed. It also has the vegetable in with the chicken and the sauce, making extras unnecessary. Although the ingredients sound odd, their combination is quite delicious, giving a lovely velvety textured, tasty sauce.
