I think that any vegetable in a creamy well-made white sauce makes a good accompaniment to roast meat, but leeks in white sauce are especially good with Roast Leg of Lamb and with Roast Rack of Lamb with a Herb Crust. They are also delicious with Steak, Kidney and Mushroom Pie, and with Game Pudding, too.
