I have a horror of bought hamburgers, because unless I know the butcher who made them, I don’t know what has gone into them. I much prefer to make my own, by buying good meat and pulverizing it in my food processor. I like to make it quite chunky, rather than smooth. You do need a bit of fat to make the hamburgers juicy.
