This is a filling for rolls for a special occasion. The type of roll you choose to encase this filling is dependent on your preference – either soft white baps or crisper-crusted granary rolls. But as the filling tends to be rather moist, I suggest the rolls are split and buttered and the filling taken separately, in a bowl, with a spoon to fill each roll before eating.
It takes a matter of seconds to fill the rolls.
