Cream Cheese, Crispy Bacon and Garlic Sauce

This sauce is really best with all types of pasta. But it can also be served with plain boiled potatoes, new or old.

Ingredients

  • 6 rashers of bacon, smoked or unsmoked (I prefer smoked myself)
  • ¾ lb/340 g cream

Method

Cook the bacon till crisp, then drain and cool it on kitchen paper, and break it into small bits.

Put the cream cheese into a food processor or liquidizer with the chopped garlic and whiz till smooth, gradually adding the milk till you have a thick cream. Whiz in the broken-up bacon and chopped parsley, then put the cream cheese and bacon mixture into a serving bowl. You can make this s
