You can buy a wide variety of horseradish sauces and relishes, but if you can, buy a jar of dried, grated horseradish. This isn’t easy to find, but you do occasionally come across them in good delicatessens. Otherwise buy fresh, peel it and grate it – beware, it is ferociously fiery in its raw state – and use it sparingly.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp dried horseradish or 1 tsp fresh
  • ½ p

Method

Mix all the ingredients together well, and serve.
