I am such a chocolate addict and how I wish I wasn’t, but it is just one of those things you have to learn to live with! This sauce fills my best expectations of all that a chocolate sauce should be.
Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and heat until smooth, then bring to the boil. Simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
This sauce keeps well in a jar in the fridge, but it becomes thick and fudgy when cold. To reheat, stand the jar in a warm place and then pour the sauce into a saucepan.
