This takes about 10 minutes to make and, although good with vanilla ice cream, is especially delicious with coffee ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz/112 g butter
  • 4 oz/112

Method

Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and stir them over a gentle heat till the butter has melted and the sugar dissolved. Stir in the nuts and boil the sauce for 5 minutes, still stirring. This sauce keeps warm indefinitely.
