Rich Chocolate, Raisin and Rum Ice Cream

This basic chocolate ice cream recipe is the best I know but I can’t claim credit for it because it is the invention of Katie Stewart who very kindly let me include it in my book Sweet Things. I have to say that the raisins and the booze were my ideas.
