This is probably the richest recipe in this book – a yummy concoction combining coffee-flavoured meringue with a rich coffee- and chocolate-flavoured buttercream filling and covering. It is covered with toasted flaked almonds, which provide a delicious combination of flavours as well as a good contrasting crunch. It has the added bonus of being much better made the day before it is to be eaten.
