This recipe was given to me by Araminta Dallmeyer. When I arrive at the Dallmeyers’ house around tea-time, I always make a bee-line for the biscuit tin in the hope of finding flapjacks within.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz/112 g butter
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup

Method

Melt the butter and golden syrup together in a saucepan, then stir in the remaining ingredients.
