Brie originates in the northern region of france called seine-et-marne, and it’s known as the “king of cheeses.” Made from cow’s milk, it is rich, creamy, semisoft, and perfect for melting, especially inside madeleines. These are fantastic when served warm from the oven, and even better when paired with champagne!
