This very light, fluffy halva may be eaten as a snack or at the end of a meal. It is very popular with children. The semolina (sooji in Hindi) is best bought from an Indian grocer.

  1. Bring the measured water to the boil in a saucepan. Once it comes to a rolling boil, reduce the heat to very low and let the saucepan sit on the back of the cooker.
