Star Anise Ice Cream

If you thought I made only Ginger Ice Cream for that Friendsgiving, you’re wrong. I made two flavors, and the second one was this equally delicious star anise–infused ice cream. I cannot say enough good things about the mellow licorice flavor this spice releases when mixed with dairy and sugar. It’s subtle and perfect.
