Braised Baby Fennel

Ingredients

  • tbsp olive oil
  • 4 baby fennel, trimmed
  • sea salt and black pepper

Method

Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the fennel with a little seasoning. Fry, turning, until golden brown, then add a splash of vegetable stock and cover the pan. Braise for 6–8 minutes until the fennel is tender when pierced with a small sharp knife. Drain before serving.
