I am such a huge fan of okra that I had to give you another recipe to showcase how great they can be. Simply cooked in a sauce with a panch phoron spice base, this curry can be enjoyed on its own or as a tasty side dish.


  • 5 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp panch phoron
  • 2 garlic clove


  1. Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a deep non-stick frying pan/skillet that has a lid over a medium heat. When hot, add the panch phoron and cook until the nuggets of fenugreek turn dark brown. Be careful not to burn, as it will taste bitter.
  2. Add the garlic and green chillie
