Green Beans with Tomatoes and Garlic

Lebanese food writer Anissa Helou has kindly given me permission to include this recipe from her superb cookbook Lebanese Cuisine: More than 250 Authentic Recipes from the Most Elegant Middle Eastern Cuisine. The dish, made with seasonal green string or snap beans, is wonderful whether served warm, at room temperature, or cool. The garlic cloves, are creamy, buttery, and
