  • 1 l/ pt red wine
  • ½ cinnamon stick

Put the wine, cinnamon, peppercorns and sugar in a saucepan, boil for 3 minutes, then take the pan off the heat and add the peaches and cherries. Cover the pan and leave to cool.

When the liquid is cold, remove the cinnamon, add the raspberries and strawberries, leave to marinate for 2 hours, then serve.
