Tarator sauce is a bread sauce with attitude and, served with lamb, makes a classic Middle Eastern combination. It’s packed with lemon juice, garlic, pine nuts, cumin and olive oil and it works beautifully with sweet and juicy lamb chops, gently flavoured with allspice and oregano. The rich flavours of the lamb and sauce benefit from the contrasting fresh and simple tomato and radish salad, which was inspired by countless trips to the Eastern Med.
