That is literally the only bit of French I know. My friend Giuseppe speaks fluent French, even though he’s Italian, and because he asked, I’m doing a French-ish recipe. And I think I found the perfect vegan way to recreate it. This is traditionally made with eggs and brioche, but you can’t have either. Sorry. But I’m not sorry really, because this is a lovely recipe.
